About Us

Established in 1969 as a supplier of Zinc Electroplating we have grown into a company with over 70 employees running 4 state of the art plating lines all at our 2 Acre Moorabbin location.

We are one of the largest production electrocoaters in the country with 2 fully automatic lines allowing for greater scheduling and production flexability. Combining this with our 2 zinc plating lines gives us the capability to provide the quality and service we are renowned for.

Our Moorabbin location provides finishing solutions for companies Australia wide. We serve many varying industries including Automotive, Industrial, Electronics, telecommunications and general fabrication for both local and international markets and are capable of handling jobs from a few hundred parts into the millions.

Offering state-of-the-art finishing technology demands links with the world's leading companies and organisations. In order to stay on top of new developments and industry issues Excellent Plating Works holds technology transfer arrangements with major North American processors, is a foundation member of the AIG (Australian Industry Group) a corporate member of the AIMF (Australian Institute of Metal Finishing) and a member of the FAPM (Federation of Automotive Product Manufacturers).
